Mr. Hoffman serves as president and chief executive officer of The Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati, a 501 (c)(4), independent foundation whose mission is: “to improve the health of the people of the Cincinnati region.”
Mr. Hoffman also serves as president and CEO of InterAct for Change, a 501 (c)(3), public charity whose mission is “to inspire, lead and support active philanthropy.” InterAct seeks to be a nationally recognized leader in creating innovative inspiring philanthropic solutions.
Mr. Hoffman is a founding director and Chair of The Health Policy Institute of Ohio. He is a member of the Board of Overseers of the Greater Cincinnati Arts and Education Center, serves as a trustee, Secretary and chair of the Planning/Communications Committee of Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services (OPRS) Foundation, is a member and past president of the Cincinnatus Association, a member of the Rotary Club of Cincinnati and a trustee of the Rotary Club of Cincinnati Foundation and past Chair of the Board of Governors of the Bankers Club.
Mr. Hoffman spent the first thirty-five years of his career in the telephone industry. He joined Cincinnati Bell Telephone in 1960 and progressed through several management positions before joining the AT&T Company in
Mr. Hoffman is an Advisory trustee and the retired President and Chairman of the Board of the Cincinnati Opera Association, the second oldest opera company and the oldest summer opera festival in the
Mr. Hoffman served as chair of the Business Advisory Committee of Xavier University College of Business from 1995 to 1999 and as a member of the Business Advisory Committee of Miami University. He and his wife Donna served on the President’s Roundtable for Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in
Mr. Hoffman served as chair of the Cincinnati Better Business Bureau (1995-1997) and on the board of directors of ChoiceCare Corporation (1989-1997). He participated in Class II of Leadership Cincinnati.
