- Health Care Access Report 2000-A look at issues affecting children's access to healthcare.
- The Institute for Health Policy and Health Services Research--This website has several reports that the public can download: Mandatory Medicaid Managed Care, Health Care Access Among Adults and Children, and The Greater Cincinnati Community Health Status Survey.
- Greater Cincinnati Physician Study on Charity and Uncompensated Care--This study was to assess the current level of uncompensated (a.k.a. charity) care provided by physicians in the Greater Cincinnati region, and to determine whether and under what circumstances physicians would be willing to serve additional patients who have limited ability or are unable to pay for care.

- The Need for Behavioral Health Services for School-Age Children: A Survey of Students in Southwestern Ohio--Three county-level mental health boards serving Butler, Clermont, Clinton, and Warren Counties contracted with the Institute for Policy Research of the University of Cincinnati to survey students and determine the extent and depth of the students' needs.

- Homeless in Cincinnati--A report for the Greater Cincinnati Coalition for the Homeless on a comprehensive 2000 study on the homeless population.
- Journey Toward Self-Sufficiency: A Qualitative Study--A research project for Cincinnati Works.
- Mental Illness and Substance Abuse in the Criminal Justice System (September 2000)--This report takes an in-depth look at how the behavioral health and criminal justice systems interact.
- When Welfare to Work Doesn't Work: Interlocking Problems of Low-Income Women--This study looks at the barriers faced by 69 female welfare recipients in Hamilton County who attended the Campus program at the FreeStore/FoodBank, a program designed to help hard-to-serve welfare recipients.

- An Assessment of Functional Health Literacy Among Patients Served in Primary Care Providers to the Poor Practice Settings--The purpose of this study was to assess the functional health literacy (FHL) of patients in primary care providers to the poor (PCPP) practice settings within the Greater Cincinnati area.
- Cultural Competence in Primary Health Care in Public Health Settings: A Report from the Wright State University School of Professional Psychology, Ellis Human Development Institute--This report is about the capacity of providers to improve health encounters and outcomes for ethnically, culturally, and linguistically diverse patients. The data gathered in this project suggest that the region will face significant challenges in providing an adequate level of culturally competent services.

- Behavioral Health on the Ballot (November 2002)--This report examines property tax levies for mental health and alcohol and other drug treatment in nine Southwest Ohio counties.
- The Effects of Depression on Society: Proceedings from the Depression Roundtable (November 2001)--These proceedings contain papers from the presenters and the discussions among the health and social service providers who participated in the roundtable.
- Health Issues of People with Severe Mental Illness (August 1999)--This report highlights the significant health issues facing people with chronic severe mental illness, particularly those diagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depression.
- Interim Grantmaking Report - Substance Use Disorders and Severe Mental Illnesses in the Criminal Justice System (March 2009)--This interim report presents an overview of the initiative and what the Health Foundation has learned so far about funding grants that address substance use disorders and severe mental illnesses in the criminal justice system. It combines the results of a feasibility study we conducted in 2007 with grant results and thoughts from our Senior Program Officers. We have also included quotes from our grantees in the margins of this report to give their perspective.
- Issues Concerning Behavioral Health Insurance Parity (May 2006)--This informational report discussing the insurance parity issues in behavioral health. The 40-page report is the culmination of five years of study in the area. According to the report, behavioral health insurance parity means providing the same benefits and coverage of treatment for mental illnesses and substance use disorders as for any physical illness or disease.

- Location, Location, Location Providing Physical Health Care in Other Settings to Increase Access Reclaiming 25 Years of Life Integrating Physical and Mental Health Care to Reduce Health Disparities for People with Severe Mental Illnesses (October 2008 Issue 1)--This white paper presents an overview of the health disparities of people with severe mental illnesses, some of the factors that contribute to these disparities, and two strategies that can be used to address these disparities.
- Voices of FACT: How Forensic Assertive Community Treatment Changes Lives (May 2009)--The Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati has funded 10 ACT teams in our region, 4 of which are FACT teams. This is a study of the results of these 10 ACT teams, the Health Foundation heard from consumers, staff, and community stakeholders that FACT has changed their lives and their communities.
