- Behavioral Health on the Ballot (November 2002)--This report examines property tax levies for mental health and alcohol and other drug treatment in nine Southwest Ohio counties.
- The Effects of Depression on Society: Proceedings from the Depression Roundtable (November 2001)--These proceedings contain papers from the presenters and the discussions among the health and social service providers who participated in the roundtable.
- Health Issues of People with Severe Mental Illness (August 1999)--This report highlights the significant health issues facing people with chronic severe mental illness, particularly those diagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depression.
- Interim Grantmaking Report - Substance Use Disorders and Severe Mental Illnesses in the Criminal Justice System (March 2009)--This interim report presents an overview of the initiative and what the Health Foundation has learned so far about funding grants that address substance use disorders and severe mental illnesses in the criminal justice system. It combines the results of a feasibility study we conducted in 2007 with grant results and thoughts from our Senior Program Officers. We have also included quotes from our grantees in the margins of this report to give their perspective.
- Issues Concerning Behavioral Health Insurance Parity (May 2006)--This informational report discussing the insurance parity issues in behavioral health. The 40-page report is the culmination of five years of study in the area. According to the report, behavioral health insurance parity means providing the same benefits and coverage of treatment for mental illnesses and substance use disorders as for any physical illness or disease.
- Mental Illness and Substance Abuse in the Criminal Justice System (September 2000)--This report takes an in-depth look at how the behavioral health and criminal justice systems interact.
- Location, Location, Location Providing Physical Health Care in Other Settings to Increase Access Reclaiming 25 Years of Life Integrating Physical and Mental Health Care to Reduce Health Disparities for People with Severe Mental Illnesses (October 2008 Issue 1)--This white paper presents an overview of the health disparities of people with severe mental illnesses, some of the factors that contribute to these disparities, and two strategies that can be used to address these disparities.
- Voices of FACT: How Forensic Assertive Community Treatment Changes Lives (May 2009)--The Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati has funded 10 ACT teams in our region, 4 of which are FACT teams. This is a study of the results of these 10 ACT teams, the Health Foundation heard from consumers, staff, and community stakeholders that FACT has changed their lives and their communities.
