David Devlin-Foltz, Director of the Global Interdependence Initiative at the Aspen Institute in Washington, D.C., has been named the 2008 Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati Distinguished Evaluator for his work integrating evaluation into the fabric of effective advocacy. Devlin-Foltz will guide workshop participants through a step-by-step roadmap for planning advocacy programs and conducting evaluations before, during, and after policy advocacy efforts.
Using a free on-line tool developed by Devlin-Foltz and his team, workshop attendees will learn how to build an advocacy logic model which includes: goals and impacts; audience; what you bring to your campaign; the activities and tactics you're planning for; and benchmarks along the way to achieving your advocacy goals.
