Payment Policy
The Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati offers workshops to the staff, board, and volunteers of nonprofits at a subsidized rate as an investment in the community. Others pay at market rates. Participants’ spaces are not reserved until we accept payment. Therefore, we must receive the participant’s workshop registration fee prior to the workshop for registration to be complete.

Confirmation
The Health Foundation will send an e-mail confirmation when registration information and payment are complete. If you do not register on-line, please include your email address on your written registration form and make sure it is legible.

Walk-in Registrations
Walk-in registrations the day of a workshop normally cannot be accommodated.

Standard Workshop Cancellation Policy
There is no penalty for cancellation before the registration deadline. The Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati will not refund registration fees if a participant cancels after the deadline.

Special Workshop Cancellation Policy
There is no penalty for cancellation before the registration deadline. Because special workshops are offered at a heavily subsidized rate, a valuable community resource is lost if participants register but do not attend. If a participant from a nonprofit organization has registered for an event with a special workshop cancellation policy and fails to attend or cancel by the registration deadline, the Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati will charge an alternate rate. Participants who register at the market rate and fail to cancel by the deadline and fail to attend will not receive a refund. When a special cancellation fee applies, this will be stated in the registration materials.

Substitution Policy
Substitutions are possible when a registrant becomes unable to attend. To arrange a substitution, the original registrant should call 513-458-6659. If we are not informed of a substitution, we will likely turn away the substitute because we are waiting for you. We reserve the right not to accept substitutes when we do not believe they are appropriate.

Special Accommodations Policy
The Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati will provide reasonable accommodation for people with special needs if notified at least two weeks in advance.
