Substance abuse affects our community at all levels and in a variety of ways with far-reaching consequences. But substance abuse is treatable and preventable, and with proper interventions, its effects on society can be minimized. Responding to the requests from the community about this need, the Health Foundation selected Substance Use Disorders as one of our focused areas of grantmaking.
