Funding Interests

As The Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati contemplated how it would focus its grantmaking, we turned to you, the community, to help us define the unmet health needs that you were experiencing. Community comment sessions and advisory group meetings led us to selecting four focus areas:

• Community Primary Care
• School-aged Children's Healthcare
• Substance Use Disorders
• Severe Mental Illness
• Community Health Development
• Joint Substance Use Disorders / Severe Mental Illness

Realizing that these four areas do not encompass all of the health issues experienced by our community, the Health Foundation also invests in projects that fall outside of these four areas.
