Kindred Spirits is a long-term residential alcohol and drug treatment program for adolescent boys facilitated by The Counseling Center Inc. Located in southern Ohio, Kindred Spirits is a program on a farm setting using equine therapy to assist clients achieve abstinence from drugs and reach other relevant goals. A newly funded project, Kindred Spirits is in the process of obtaining property, program, and staff development. The program plans to serve at least 30 adolescent clients and their families annually. Each family will be linked with resources to assist them as they support their child in his recovery from the disease of addiction. |
