The Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati has always encouraged and supported data-driven decisions. It is in support of that goal that the foundation and the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky started the Kentucky Health Issues Poll.

Results from the 2008 poll, conducted in conjunction with the Institute for Policy Research's Kentucky Poll, will be distributed throughout the coming weeks. Data we have released include:

• Kentuckians' Experiences with Health Insurance Coverage
• What Kentuckians' Think About the Importance of Medicaid
• What Kentuckians' Think About Increasing the State Tax on Cigarettes
• What Kentuckians Think About Their Own Health Status
• What Kentuckians Think About the State of the State and Policy Priorities

The Kentucky Health Issues Poll will be conducted once a year in partnership with the Institute for Policy Research and will cover a variety of topics, including insurance status, concerns about healthcare coverage, healthcare services, and others. We welcome your suggestions on topics for future surveys.
